This is a unique find that will be shortly going to an international auction house..

 

Frederick Henry Haines (1869-1944) was a British insurance broker who embraced Spiritualism during the First World War, and gained prominence in the field. Starting in the 1920s he began to receive texts via automatic writing, and became a popular lecturer on the subject, also founding the Watford Christian Spiritualist Fellowship. He contributed to a number of psychical and spiritualist journals, and published a large number of books including “Thus saith Celphra : a spirit revelation” (1928); A voice from heaven. The return of ‘G.V.O.'” (1932); “Thro’ a glass darkly; or, The secrets of death” (1935); and his autobiography “Nothing But the Truth: The Confessions of a Medium” (1931). He founded, edited, and was one of the main contributors to “Spiritual Vision”  I have seen single volumes sold in poorcondition for over $1500 but never a full set ..  We have Volume  I no 1 Oct 1933 to  Volume V no 12 1938 September 1938  Bar a little focing page edges only these are in superb condition.
