This volume is the exhibition catalogue of the last phase of Frederick McCubbin’s career. In 1907, McCubbin visited Europe for the first time and there first witnessed the work of the Impressionists. He was an immediate convert and switched from the more traditional style to one influenced by the late Turner and the Impressionists.

This last phase of his work was featured in the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra in 2009. Please contact Bob for details.
