Poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail services to St Andrews, Fife. The poster is promoting St Andrews as ‘the home of the royal and ancient game’ of golf, and shows two golfers with caddies. West Sands is visible in the background. Artwork by Arthur C Michael, a painter and etcher who worked mainly in watercolour or bodycolour.
