Description

The life of the composer Robert Stolz and his wife Einzi who escaped Vienna ahead of the Nazis. Stolz was the last Viennese composer of waltzes. This edition features an inscription from Einzi Stolz to Yissakhar Ben-Yaakov who was Israel’s ambassador to Australia from 1983-1987. The inscription is dated January, 1984 and was issued in Mrs Stolz’s bookshop in Vienna. Also featured is a European Union postage stamp featuring Robert Stolz.
